pithh ("we", "us") is operated by Dario Tonon as an individual. This policy explains what data pithh collects, why, and how you can control it. For questions or to exercise your rights, contact info@pithh.com.
What we collect
- Account data. If you sign up or sign in, we collect your email address and (for email/password accounts) a password, which is hashed and never stored in plain text. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares (email, name). Account data is stored and managed by our authentication provider, Supabase, in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Prompt text. The text you paste into the analyzer is sent to our server solely to count its tokens. For some models the count is computed locally on our server with no further transmission; for others, your text is forwarded to that model provider's API (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or Groq for Meta/DeepSeek/Qwen models) purely to run their token-counting endpoint. We do not store your prompt text — it is processed for the duration of the request and then discarded.
- Essential cookies and local storage. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers ("subprocessors") to run pithh:
- Supabase (EU, Frankfurt) — authentication and account storage.
- Vercel — hosting and serverless functions.
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Groq — only when you select a model whose token count requires calling that provider's API, and only for the prompt text you submit at that moment.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA; where that happens, we rely on the safeguards they provide for international transfers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep data
Account data is kept until you delete your account or request erasure. Prompt text is not retained after your request completes.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@pithh.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as pithh evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
This policy describes pithh's current practices in plain language. It is not a substitute for formal legal advice.
